Sharetronic Signs a Five-Year Cloud-Computing Contract Worth Up to US$5.6 Billion

On 22 October, City News Service reported that Chinese AI-infrastructure company Sharetronic Data Technology had signed a five-year cloud-computing services contract valued at up to RMB 37.5 billion, approximately US$5.6 billion, with an unnamed client. The agreement is subject to the client inspecting and accepting the relevant computing facilities before payments begin, so the headline value should not be treated as revenue already received; enterprises can explore cloud infrastructure, AI workloads and data-platform modernisation, while HPC can provide computing and technology-planning support with quotations based on confirmed requirements.
