Canada Announces US$628 Million-Equivalent for Health Research

On 22 October, the Government of Canada announced C$880 million (approximately US$628 million) to support researchers and the next generation of research talent, including more than C$400 million for 439 health-research projects through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Project Grant programme. Hospitals, universities and health-technology providers can explore secure research-data platforms, computational analysis and operational modelling; HPC can support suitable research workloads, with quotations based on project needs.
