Kuwait Focuses on Commercial-Concealment Compliance Under New Legislation

On 25 October, Kuwait’s Fatwa and Legislation Department held a seminar on Decree-Law No. 78 of 2026, which targets commercial concealment and unlicensed business activity. The law is scheduled to take effect in February 2027, increasing the importance of ownership checks, licensing controls and compliance documentation; businesses can contact HPC for a quotation on compliance workflows, document analytics and governance technology.
